From our investigation it appears <br /> that the water did go through the meter and probably was wasted by the water <br /> softener. I don't feel as though I can fail to collect money owed the city <br /> without the council's permission, although I feel it may be ,justified due to <br /> the financial position of the individual involved. <br /> ACTION: Council <br /> • b. Bottle Club License Application American Legion <br /> I don't feel that the policing problems will be as great with a bottle club <br /> license as they would be with a club license and the operation should be <br /> somewhat easier for the management to police themselves than with a club <br /> license. I should point out though that we have had two incidents at the <br /> Legion, since we turned them down for a club license, where participants in <br /> wedding dances, etc. have become unruly and the police were called. <br /> ACTION-Council <br /> 10. Reports <br /> a. Police & Fire Reports-Please call if you have any questions. <br /> 10A. Reports by Mayor, Council, Manager <br /> a. Discussion of remodelling of City Hall. Attached is the approximate time <br /> schedule I prepared for your guidance. <br /> ACTION-Council <br /> b. Discussion of request for resident for venting of water system. I have <br /> discussed the request with Ice Comstock and he indicates that the venting of <br /> water systems normally isn't done and probably wouldn't cure Mr. Anderson's <br /> problem anyway. Again I recommend against installing a vent and don't feel <br /> there is justification for installing a hydrant when it probably won't cure <br /> the problem anyway. <br /> c. Discussion of joint Council/School Board meeting on 5-29-74. The Board <br /> has indicated that 5-29-74. The Board has indicated that 5-29-74 would be a <br /> desireable date for them with your concurrence I will make the arrangements. <br />
