• -2- <br /> The following correction was made to the Council minutes of July 8th: <br /> • Page 3, paragraph 2 to read "waste waters from St. Anthony were <br /> not carried". <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to approve the <br /> Council minutes of July 8th as corrected. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Chairman Letourneau of the Planning Board presented the Planning Board minutes <br /> Of July 15th. <br /> There was a question as to whether Goodyear Tire Company need two variances <br /> for their proposed free standing sign at their store at 4008 Silver Lake Rd, <br /> which already is at the maximum, allowable sign surface area. <br /> The Council ruled that if they did not reduce the sign surface area on their <br /> building they would need two variances, one for additional sign area and one <br /> for a free standing sign. The matter was referred back to the Planning <br /> _Bpard for their August l9th agenda. <br /> The proposal of American Monarch to rezone the easterly 150 feet of Apache <br /> Terrace, Lot 1 was not heard by the Planning Board, but a representative of <br /> American Monarch made a request for a public hearing to rezone the easterly <br /> 325 feet of Apache Terrace, Lot 1 from light industrial to commercial to <br /> permit the construction of a Country Kitchen Restaurant. <br /> • Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to direct the <br /> Planning Board to hold a public hearing on the request at the Planning <br /> Board meeting on August 19th. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Council was briefed by the Manager on a requested amendment to Ordinance <br /> 135.00 effecting vacation leave time for non-union employees. <br /> Motion by Councilman Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Sauer to approve the <br /> 1st reading of Ordinance 1975-006. <br /> ORDINANCE 1975-oo6 <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE <br /> PERSONNEL ORDINANCE OF THE CITY OF <br /> ST. ANTHONY: AMENDING SECTION 135:39,Sub. 1 <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Manager reported on his inquiries as to the cost of young trees to replace <br /> those removed by the City because of disease and wind damage and was directed <br /> to purchase and plant some. <br /> The Manager and City Engineer reported on the four bids received for Sidewalk <br /> Improvement Project 1975-001. <br /> • Motion by Councilman Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Sauer to adopt <br /> Resolution No. 75-035. <br />
