League of Minnesota Cities - Re : Problems with State Bingo <br /> Law. I have returned the questionaire to the LMC. <br /> ACTION: Recommend we support the LMC proposed changes in <br /> the Bingo Law and so inform our legislators . <br /> E. John Drawz - LeFevere, Lefler, Pearson, O'Brien and Drawz, <br /> Re: Special assessment problems - Ramsey County. I concur <br /> with Mr. Drawz 's recommendation and recommend we proceed. <br /> ACTION: Council. <br /> F. Discussion of Leasing unused space in old City Hall. I have <br /> had several inquiries regarding leasing a portion or all of <br /> the vacant space in the old City Hall. Some of the proposed <br /> uses would require quite extensive remodeling in the form of <br /> plumbing, wiring, etc. Two of the inquiries involved office, <br /> retail, production type uses : 1 office type use, 2 service <br /> type uses. I would like the Council to give me some quidance <br /> regarding the type of uses they wouldn't want to lease the <br /> space for, whether we would consider extensive remodeling <br /> either by the City or lease and length of lease we might con- <br /> sider. I estimate our net income to be in the area of $2, 500 <br /> per year if we do lease the space. <br /> • ACTION: Council. <br />
