Ordinances and Resolutions <br /> A. Resolution 77-039 - Resolution providing for the reassessment <br /> and apportionment of certain special assessments previously <br /> levied. The City's special counsel on this problem advised that <br /> the enclosed resolution be adopted. Previously, the Council <br /> • adopted a resolution ordering the hearing which was not detailed <br /> enough. Counsel also advised that probably only outstanding <br /> principal could be collected. It would probably be prudent to <br /> spread the unpaid assessments at 8% interest, however. <br /> ACTION: Recommend Approval. <br /> B. Resolution 77-040 - Resolution determining the amount the City <br /> will pay on Street Improvement 1976-1 and the amount to be <br /> assessed on Street Improvement 1976-1. The memo enclosed should <br /> assist the Council in determining the proper level of assessment. <br /> ACTION: Review, set proposed assessment, and adopt resolution. <br /> C. Resolution 77-041 - Resolution determining the amount to be <br /> assessed on Street Improvement 1976-2 and the amount the City <br /> will pay. Staff guidance is also requested on this assessment <br /> for the scheduled September 13th assessment hearing. A memo is <br /> also provided. <br /> ACTION: Review, set -proposed assessment, and adopt resolution. <br /> 7. Old Business <br /> A. Jerry Dulgar wanted me to announce that the City Manager Selection <br /> Committee will meet August 24th to review applications . <br /> • ACTION: Informational. <br />
