• B. Minnesota Department of Transportaton re: Bikeway Grant <br /> application. I don't know if we have any needs or could qualify <br /> but I thought I would bring it to the Council 's attention. <br /> ACTION: Review, file. <br /> C. Chemical Dependency Task Force Report. The group met recently <br /> and wants to begin an action program. A group, perhaps with <br /> the same membership, will have to develop the specifics and <br /> operation of the program and will probably require some funding, <br /> at least in "seed" money from the City. Grants and CETA employ- <br /> ees are future possible funding/staffing sources . Councilman <br /> Stauffer will discuss. The power and responsibilities of the <br /> group will have to be specified. <br /> ACTION: Review and advise. <br /> D. Election Judges list for the November 8th Election. State law <br /> now permits us to assign judges to polling places outside their <br /> precincts. We have problems getting judges in Ramsey County. <br /> ACTION: Review and, if satisfactory, approve. <br /> 10. Reports <br /> A. Investment report for January - August 1977. Interest rates are <br /> somewhat low but I think we are getting a decent return and we <br /> • are trying to maximize the amount of funds invested. <br /> ACTION: Information, file. <br /> B.
