Page 3 <br /> Minutes/council <br /> January 26, 1565 <br /> 6. <br /> COMMUNICATIONS, PETITIONS AND REPORTS <br /> Upon order by the Mayor, the V i I loge Manager was instructed to contact the <br /> Railroad and Warehouse Commission regarding the possibility of installing crossing <br /> signals on Stinson Blvd. at the Soo Line crossing. The Manager will report on this <br /> matter at the February 9, 1965 Council meeting. <br /> Upon 'motion by Councilman Erickson, seconded by Councilman Dougherty, it was <br /> moved to authorize the Manager to screen architects for the purpose of preparing <br /> plans and specifications on the proposed remodeling of the Off-Sole Store of <br /> Liquor Store 01 . The Manager will present three architects for Council consideration <br /> at a later date. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey, seconded by Councilman Sorenson, it was moved <br /> to approve the proposal by Eugene Hickok to study and report on the conditions for <br /> an amount not to exceed $600.00 and to authorize the Manager to enter into contract <br /> for said study and report. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey, seconded by Councilman Dougherty, it was <br /> moved that the minutes of the regular-Planning Board meeting of January 19, 1965 <br /> be received and filed. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty, seconded by Councilman Sorenson, it <br /> was moved to accept-the advice and recommendation of the Planning Board and <br /> approve the request by James K. Olson to divide lots 3 and 4 of John Mohn Addn. <br /> and Tracts F, G, & H of Registered Land Survey 01005 on 32 1/2 Ave. NE into <br /> 3 lots of 80 ft., 105 ft., and 85 ft. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson, seconded by Councilman Erickson, it was <br /> moved to accept the advice and recommendation of the Planning Board and approve <br /> the request by Michael Seledic for a variance in sideyard requirements from 30 ft. <br /> to 14.3 ft. on lot 15, block 3, St. Anthony Terrace Manor Addition. <br /> Mr. Seledicc-presented a petition signed by D. H. Lofgren, 3301 Skycroft Circle, <br /> and G. A. Collinge, 3319 Skycroft Drive, abutting owners, indicating no objection <br /> to the variance. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br />
