Page 4 Council Minutes January 26, 1965 Upon motion by Councilman Erickson, seconded by Councilman Bai ley, it was moved that the December , 1964 Financial Statement be received and filed. The motion carried unanimously. Upon order by Mayor McNulty, the report by the Village Attorney on pending cases was received and filed. 7. MISCELLANEOUS The Village Manager reported to the Council that William R. Ferguson has been appointed as police officer to fill the new position created by the Village Council in the 1965 budget. Upon order of the Mayor, the sense of the oro I report as to the status of the St. Anthony Municipal Court Legislative Bill was requested included in the minutes. Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty, seconded by Councilman Erickson, it was moved that Resolution No.65-,I setting March 1, 1965, as the cut-off date for receipt of petitions for public improvements be adopted. RESOLUTION # 65-01/ RESOLUTION SETTING MARCH 1, 1965 AS CUT-OFF DATE FOR RECEIVING OF PETITIONS REQUESTING INSTALLATION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR CONSTRUCTION IN 1965. Voting on the Resolution: Aye: Bailey, Dougherty, Erickson, McNulty, Sorenson Nay: None The motion carried unanimously. Upon motion by Councilman Erickson, seconded by Councilman Bailey, it was moved to allow the Mayor and Village Manager to enter into contract with the Hennepin County Highway Department for winter maintenance of County Roads within St. Anthony Village for the amount of $1000.00. The motion carried unanimously. The Village Manager requested that discussion of the salary of Richard Schwalbach be deleted from the agenda. 8. OLD BUSINESS Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson, seconded by Councilman Bailey, it was moved not to change the insurance and rate of fare requirements of Ordinance No.70 as requested by the Rose Radio Cab Company.
