MISCELLANEOUS <br /> The Village Manager reported to the Council that William R. Ferguson has been <br /> appointed as police officer to fill the new position created by the Village Council <br /> in the 1965 budget. <br /> Upon order of the Mayor, the sense of the oro I report as to the status of the <br /> St. Anthony Municipal Court Legislative Bill was requested included in the minutes. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty, seconded by Councilman Erickson, it was <br /> moved that Resolution No.65-,I setting March 1, 1965, as the cut-off date for <br /> receipt of petitions for public improvements be adopted. <br /> RESOLUTION # 65-01/ <br /> RESOLUTION SETTING MARCH 1, 1965 AS CUT-OFF DATE FOR RECEIVING <br /> OF PETITIONS REQUESTING INSTALLATION OF PUBLIC IMPROVEMENTS FOR <br /> CONSTRUCTION IN 1965. <br /> Voting on the Resolution: Aye: Bailey, Dougherty, Erickson, McNulty, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Erickson, seconded by Councilman Bailey, it was <br /> moved to allow the Mayor and Village Manager to enter into contract with the <br /> Hennepin County Highway Department for winter maintenance of County Roads <br /> within St. Anthony Village for the amount of $1000.00. <br /> The motion carried unanimously. <br /> The Village Manager requested that discussion of the salary of Richard Schwalbach <br /> be deleted from the agenda. <br /> 8. OLD BUSINESS <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson, seconded by Councilman Bailey, it was <br /> moved not to change the insurance and rate of fare requirements of Ordinance No.70 <br /> as requested by the Rose Radio Cab Company. <br /> Voting on the motion: Aye: Bailey, Dougherty, Erickson, Sorenson <br /> Nay: McNulty <br /> The motion carried. <br />
