-4- <br /> Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor, seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was moved <br /> that the bid of Richards Oil Co. for the supplying of asphalt for the year <br /> 1966 be accepted as bid. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye : O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey seconded by Councilman Sorenson it was <br /> moved that the bid of Home Gas Co. for the supplying of L.P. Gas for the <br /> year 1966 be accepted as bid. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O 'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The Village attorney's report on the Village Volunteer Fire Department's <br /> joining in the Capital City Mutual Aid Association was discussed and the <br /> • Village Manager was directed to inform Chief Mohn that state statutes would <br /> only allow a cooperative agreement between municipalities and not an Assoc- <br /> iation as proposed. <br /> A report by James Shaughnessy, Building Inspector, concerning certain zoning <br /> violations as to multiple usage of R1 units, was discussed and it was the <br /> council 's directive that steps be taken to notify the occupants that the <br /> premises in violation of the zoning ordinance be vacated in thirty days. <br /> Upon motion by. Counci:loran Dougherty seconded by Councilman Bailey it was <br /> moved that N.S.P. Company's drawing EST36874 for the placement of 3 polis <br /> along the right of way between Penrod and Macalaster Drive be approved,• <br /> subject to the approval of the Village engineer. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty seconded by Mayor O'Connor it was moved <br /> that the petitions for the improvements of Macalaster Drive South of 39th <br /> Avenue N. E., Stinson Boulevard from 37th Avenue N. E. to Silver Lane, and <br /> Roosevelt Street extension from 33rd Avenue N. E. within the Horton Connett, <br /> Pat-Pen plat be accepted and filed. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Councilman Sorenson introduced Resolution No. 66-023 and moved that it be <br /> • adopted. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 66-023 <br /> RESOLUTION ORDERING PREPARATION OF REPORTS ON <br /> IMPROVEMENTS. <br />
