e , —4— The Council discussed the proposed vacation of the N.S.P. sub-station on the corner of 33rd and Stinson Boulevard. The Clerk was instructed to notify the Planning Board of the proposed vacation and request that they hold a hearing on this property. The Clerk was also instructed to notify N.S.P. of the Council 's intentions. Councilman Dougherty introduced Resolution No. 66-028 and moved that it be adopted. RESOLUTION NO. 66-028 RESOLUTION REQUESTING A PUBLIC HEARING ON N.S.P. ELECTRICAL, SUB-STATION PROPERTY AND ADJACENT COMMERCIALLY ZONED PROPERTY. The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Sorenson. Voting on the resolution: Aye: Bailey, Sorenson, O'Connor, Springer, Dougherty Nay: None The resolution was declared adopted. Councilman Springer read from Ordinance No. 66, Subdivision 2. Exterior Storage. He requested this part of the Ordinance be enforced for 60 days. Upon motion by Councilman Springer seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was moved to table the • inoperable vehicle ordinance until the meeting of May 24th. At this time the Manager was to report on the progress of the enforcement. Motion Carried. Mr. Paul Johnson requested an adjustment of his assessments. The Council tabled the request to the next meeting pending a report from Mr. Shaughnessy, the Assessor, stating whether or not Mr. Johnson has an adjustment coming. The police report for the month of February was accepted as submitted. Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty seconded by Councilman Sorenson it was moved to pay the Certificate of the Engineer, Comstock and Davis for services rendered from January 31 , to February 26, 1966 in the amount of $131 .50. Voting on the motion: Aye: Bailey, Sorenson, O'Connor, Springer, Dougherty Nay: None Motion Carried. The Mayor declared a ten minute recess. The Council discussed the procedure of N.S.P. for obtaining permits for pole location and the fact that there seemed to be an excessive number of poles in certain locations. The Clerk was requested to send a letter to N.S.P. with regard to this.
