Mr. Nordling of Firestone Stores was recognized and requested the Council to reverse their decision of April 26, 1966 regarding the setting of curb openings at 90' from the intersection of Stinson Boulevard and 39th Avenue N.E. for the proposed Firestone Service Center. After discussion, the Council expressed the opinion that no change would be made in its prior decision. The second reading of Ordinance #75, An Ordinance Regulating and Prescribing Proceedure For Issuance Of Sign Permits, was given. Village Attorney, Raymond Haik, pointed out the changes that the Council had requested and after further discussion, Councilman Dougherty moved and Councilman Springer seconded the motion that the second reading of Ordinance #75 be approved as amended. Voting on the Motion: Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer , Bailey Nay: None Absent not Voting: Sorenson Motion Carried. Upon motion by Councilman Bailey and seconded by Councilman Springer it was moved that the first and second reading of Ordinance #66F be waived and the Ordinance be approved as submitted. • Voting on the Motion: Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey Nay: None I'bsent not Voting: Sorenson Motion Carried. Councilman Sorenson joined the meeting at 9:15 P.M. Councilman Dougherty introduced Resolution No. 66-042 and moved that it be adopted. RESOLUTION NO. 66-042 RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO ENTER INTO STREET LIGHTING CONTRACT WITH N.S.P. CO. The resolution was duly seconded by Mayor O'Connor. Voting on the Resolution: Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson Nay: None • The resolution was declared adopted. Councilman Bailey introduced Resolution No. 66-043 and moved that it be adopted.
