Mr. Nordling of Firestone Stores was recognized and requested the Council to <br /> reverse their decision of April 26, 1966 regarding the setting of curb openings <br /> at 90' from the intersection of Stinson Boulevard and 39th Avenue N.E. for the <br /> proposed Firestone Service Center. After discussion, the Council expressed the <br /> opinion that no change would be made in its prior decision. <br /> The second reading of Ordinance #75, An Ordinance Regulating and Prescribing <br /> Proceedure For Issuance Of Sign Permits, was given. Village Attorney, Raymond <br /> Haik, pointed out the changes that the Council had requested and after further <br /> discussion, Councilman Dougherty moved and Councilman Springer seconded the <br /> motion that the second reading of Ordinance #75 be approved as amended. <br /> Voting on the Motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer , Bailey <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent not Voting: Sorenson <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Bailey and seconded by Councilman Springer it was <br /> moved that the first and second reading of Ordinance #66F be waived and the <br /> Ordinance be approved as submitted. <br /> • Voting on the Motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey <br /> Nay: None <br /> I'bsent not Voting: Sorenson <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Councilman Sorenson joined the meeting at 9:15 P.M. <br /> Councilman Dougherty introduced Resolution No. 66-042 and moved that it be <br /> adopted. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 66-042 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND VILLAGE CLERK TO <br /> ENTER INTO STREET LIGHTING CONTRACT WITH N.S.P. CO. <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Mayor O'Connor. <br /> Voting on the Resolution: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> • The resolution was declared adopted. <br /> Councilman Bailey introduced Resolution No. 66-043 and moved that it be adopted. <br />
