Councilman Sorenson introduced Resolution No. 66-047 and moved that it be adopted. RESOLUTION NO. 66-047 RESOLUTION ORDERING IMPROVEMENT AND PREPARATION OF PLANS ROOSEVELT COURT - STREET IMPROVEMENT ROOSEVELT COURT - SEWER & WATER IMPROVEMENT MACALASTER DRIVE - STREET IMPROVEMENT ,• The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Bailey Voting on the resolution: Aye: Springer, Bailey, Sorenson, Dougherty Nay: None Absent not voting: O'Connor The Resolution was declared adopted. The report of enforcement of Ordinance No. 66, RE: inoperable vehicles was received and the Village Manager was directed to submit a similar progress report at the first meeting in July. The Village Attorney explained in detail the State Highway turnback law as it affects the Village of St. Anthony. After discussion, the Village Attorney and Manager were directed to contact the Highway Department relative to the conn- ecting roadway from the intersection of Silver Lake Road and St. Anthony Blvd. to Highway #8, 'and report back at a future meeting. The Council agreed that the Hennepin County League of Municipalities Membership be continued for another year. The Council was informed that Mr. Dick Fudali requested that the consideration of the division of the Diamond 8 Apartment complex be deferred to the meeting , V of June 28, 1966. This item was directed to be placed on the agenda of June 28, 1966. The meeting was adjourned at 9:45 P.M. and reconvened at 10:00 P.M., all pres- ent except Mayor O'Connor. The Village Manager was directed to send a letter to New Brighton residents RE: holding pond.
