c <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> June 28, 1966 <br /> The regular meeting of the Village Council of St. Anthony was called to order <br /> by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday June 289 1966. <br /> The following were present at roll call : <br /> O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Absent: <br /> None <br /> Also present: <br /> Village Attorney, David Doty <br /> Village Assessor, James Shaughnessy <br /> Village Manager, John Printon <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Springer it was moved <br /> that the minutes of the regular meeting of June 14, 1966 be approved as sub- <br /> mitted. <br /> • Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Mayor O'Connor it was moved <br /> that the minutes of the Board of Review Meeting of June 23, 1966 be approved <br /> as submitted. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The Minutes of the Planning Board meeting of June 21, 1966 were reviewed. <br /> Mr. Flaherty of 3208 Raftin Road, appeared regarding a request for a 12' back <br /> yard variance for the construction of a 160X16' addition to the rear of his <br /> home. Mr. Flaherty explained that the proximity of the addition to the prop- <br /> erty to the west was actually lew than if the house was turned to face north <br /> on the lot. After considerable discussion, it was proved by Mayor O'Connor <br /> seconded by Councilman Sorenson that the request for variance be granted. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> i After discussion it was moved b Councilman Bailey seconded b Councilman <br /> s Y Y Y <br /> Sorenson that a request for variance of a proposed dwelling at 3415 Stinson <br /> Boulevard be denied. <br /> ` otion Carried. <br /> Z Representatives of the Clark Oil Company presented plans for the construction <br /> of a gasoline service station on the North East corner of 33rd Ave. NE and <br /> Stinson Boulevard. After examination of plans and a decision to approve the <br /> site plan and the proposed signs as separate items, it was moved by Councilman _ <br /> Sorenson seconded by Councilman Bailey that the site plan be approved with the <br /> modification of curb cuts as recommended by the Planning Board. <br />
