c COUNCIL MINUTES June 28, 1966 The regular meeting of the Village Council of St. Anthony was called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. on Tuesday June 289 1966. The following were present at roll call : O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson Absent: None Also present: Village Attorney, David Doty Village Assessor, James Shaughnessy Village Manager, John Printon Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Springer it was moved that the minutes of the regular meeting of June 14, 1966 be approved as sub- mitted. • Motion Carried. Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Mayor O'Connor it was moved that the minutes of the Board of Review Meeting of June 23, 1966 be approved as submitted. Motion Carried. The Minutes of the Planning Board meeting of June 21, 1966 were reviewed. Mr. Flaherty of 3208 Raftin Road, appeared regarding a request for a 12' back yard variance for the construction of a 160X16' addition to the rear of his home. Mr. Flaherty explained that the proximity of the addition to the prop- erty to the west was actually lew than if the house was turned to face north on the lot. After considerable discussion, it was proved by Mayor O'Connor seconded by Councilman Sorenson that the request for variance be granted. Motion Carried. i After discussion it was moved b Councilman Bailey seconded b Councilman s Y Y Y Sorenson that a request for variance of a proposed dwelling at 3415 Stinson Boulevard be denied. ` otion Carried. Z Representatives of the Clark Oil Company presented plans for the construction of a gasoline service station on the North East corner of 33rd Ave. NE and Stinson Boulevard. After examination of plans and a decision to approve the site plan and the proposed signs as separate items, it was moved by Councilman _ Sorenson seconded by Councilman Bailey that the site plan be approved with the modification of curb cuts as recommended by the Planning Board.
