Councilman Dougherty stated that the sign ordinance was adopted
just two weeks ago and that the provisions in the ordinance should be upheld. i
There being no further discussion, Councilman Dougherty moved and seconded by
Councilman Springer that the recommendation of the Planning Board, relative
to the maximum allowance of 180 sq. ft. of sign as per Ordinance #75, be
approved.
Councilman Springer offered an amendment to the motion allowing the pylon sign j
to be included in the 180 sq. ft. of sign area. !
The amendment to the motion was seconded by Councilman Dougherty.
Voting on the amendment to the motion:
Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson
Nay: Dougherty
Amendment Carried.
Voting on the motion as amended:
Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson
Nay: None
Motion Carried as amended.
Upon motion by'Councl4man Springer seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was
moved that a 6' fence be constructed on East and North property lines where
not signed.
After discussion, the motion and second were withdrawn. f
