A petition was received for the changing of 35th Avenue N.E. between Skycroft Drive and Highcrest Road to Downers Drive. After discussion in which the Council was informed that the Post Office Department had indicated that there was no conflict in the use of the proposed name, Councilman Dougherty moved and seconded by Councilman Sorenson that the request to change the name of 35th Avenue N.E. between Skycroft Drive and Highcrest Road to Downers Drive be approved and that the Post Office Department be so notified. Voting on the motion: Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Sorenson Nay: Bailey Motion Carried. A request cf the St. Fnthony Volunteer Fire Department to have the Village Attorney draft a proposal for a mutual aid agreement was received. After discussion, Mayor O'Connor moved seconded by Councilman Bailey that the Village • Attorney be directed to prepare a draft of a mutual aid contract. Motion Carried. Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Bailey it was moved that the request of the Volunteer Fire Department to construct an 8' high partition for a work room in the northeast corner of the apparatus room be approved. Motion Carried. Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor seconded by Councilman Springer it was moved that the engineers certificate in the amount of $1715.41 be approved. Voting on the motion: Aye; O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson Nay: None Motion Carried. Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was moved that the Village engineer be authorized to up date the water plant supply system. Motion Carried. • Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was moved that the I .C.M.A. bulletin service be discontinued for council members. Motion Carried.
