• -4- <br /> The request of the Minneapolis Gas Company to construct a line extension on <br /> Silver Lane, East of Macalaster Drive was discussed. Due to the location of <br /> the water line, the Village engineer recommended a 3 ' offset from the property <br /> line. Motion by Councilman Sorenson and seconded by Councilman Springer that <br /> the proposed line extension be approved at a 3 foot offset from the property <br /> line. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> It was noted that street cuts had been approved by Hennepin County for the in- <br /> stallation of pressure control connection for the Minneapolis Gas Company per <br /> plan on Stinson Boulevard and for N.S.P. Company at 37th Avenue and Silver Lake <br /> Road. <br /> Councilman Dougherty moved and seconded by Councilman Springer that the Board o` <br /> Review meeting be set for 7:30 P.M. June 21, 1967. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> A request for control of fence height was referred to the Planning Board for <br /> recon-nondati on. <br /> • Tho !li ! lage Attorney was directed to prepare an amendment to the Sunday Closinq <br /> Ordinance to coincide with the effective date of the new state law. <br /> Upon motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Dougherty it was <br /> moved that the Village Gardenettes be authorized to sell plants in the St. <br /> Anthony Shopping Center. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Mayor O'Connor it was <br /> moved that the engineers certificate in the amount of $757.43 be approved as <br /> submitted. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: None <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Mayor O'Connor moved and seconded by Councilman Springer that the engineers <br /> certificate, tabled April 11, 1967 for clarification, be approved in the <br /> amovcnt of $57.60. <br /> Voting on the Motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Springer, Bailey, Sorenson <br /> Nay: Dougherty <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Upon motion by Councilman Sorenson and seconded by Councilman Bailey it was <br /> moved that May 1, 1967 be proclaimed Law Day, in St. Anthony Village. <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
