-3- <br /> After discussion, Councilman Emond moved and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that <br /> the, bid of Bill Boyer Ford Company for the supplying of one van delivery <br /> truck, per specifications, be accepted in the amount of $2996.00. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Emond, Crouse, Springer <br /> Nay: Dougherty <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> After discussion, Councilman Crouse moved and seconded by Councilman Emond <br /> that the bid of Hi-Lo Equipment Company for the supplying of one motor grader <br /> snow wing, per specifications, be accepted in the amount of $2910.00. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Emond, Crouse, Springer <br /> Nay: None <br /> Motion Carried, <br /> The Village Attorney discussed the matter of the qualifications of the Village <br /> electrical inspector as outlined in a letter from the State Board of Elect- <br /> ricity. <br /> • Councilman Dougherty introduced Resolution No. 68-010 and moved its adoption. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 68-010 <br /> RESOLUTION OPPOSING FARE INCREASES AND APPROVING <br /> REQUEST FOR LINE EXTENSION. <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Springer. <br /> Voting on the Resolution: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Emond, Crouse, Springer <br /> Nay: Norte <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> Mayor O'Connor indicated that a copy of the minutes olr the hearing on the <br /> Kenzie Terrace improvement as transcribed by a representative of the Hennepin <br /> County engineering department contained an error in that it indicated that <br /> Mayor O'Connor favored a center median whereas he was actually not in favor <br /> of a center median. <br /> The Village attorney was directed to prepare the necessary resolution to <br /> acquire certain tax forfeit properties for street purposes as indicated by the <br /> • Hennepin County Auditor. <br /> Various letters of correspondence were received and ordered filed. <br /> Correspondence from the City of Columbia Heights regarding participation in <br /> a share of the cost of the improvement of County Ditch #3 was discussed at <br /> length. <br />
