-3- After discussion, Councilman Emond moved and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the, bid of Bill Boyer Ford Company for the supplying of one van delivery truck, per specifications, be accepted in the amount of $2996.00. Voting on the motion: Aye: O'Connor, Emond, Crouse, Springer Nay: Dougherty Motion Carried. After discussion, Councilman Crouse moved and seconded by Councilman Emond that the bid of Hi-Lo Equipment Company for the supplying of one motor grader snow wing, per specifications, be accepted in the amount of $2910.00. Voting on the motion: Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Emond, Crouse, Springer Nay: None Motion Carried, The Village Attorney discussed the matter of the qualifications of the Village electrical inspector as outlined in a letter from the State Board of Elect- ricity. • Councilman Dougherty introduced Resolution No. 68-010 and moved its adoption. RESOLUTION NO. 68-010 RESOLUTION OPPOSING FARE INCREASES AND APPROVING REQUEST FOR LINE EXTENSION. The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Springer. Voting on the Resolution: Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Emond, Crouse, Springer Nay: Norte Resolution declared adopted. Mayor O'Connor indicated that a copy of the minutes olr the hearing on the Kenzie Terrace improvement as transcribed by a representative of the Hennepin County engineering department contained an error in that it indicated that Mayor O'Connor favored a center median whereas he was actually not in favor of a center median. The Village attorney was directed to prepare the necessary resolution to acquire certain tax forfeit properties for street purposes as indicated by the • Hennepin County Auditor. Various letters of correspondence were received and ordered filed. Correspondence from the City of Columbia Heights regarding participation in a share of the cost of the improvement of County Ditch #3 was discussed at length.
