-4- <br /> Mayor O'Connor moved and seconded by Councilman Springer that the payments <br /> to Columbia Heights for the Village share of the 1958 Storm Seger agreement <br /> on the Stinson Boulevard storm sewer system not be made until the matter of <br /> Columbia Heights participation in the improvement of County Ditch #3 be <br /> resolved. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Emond, Crouse, Springer <br /> Nay: Dougherty <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to notify N.S.P. Company of the Council 's <br /> approval of temporary street light poles on St. Anthony Boulevard at Highway <br /> #8 and at Silver Lake Road. <br /> Voice approval of a dance permit was given for a private party of Control <br /> Data employees at the Apache Plaza Center. <br /> After discussion, Mayor O'Connor moved and seconded by Councilman Crouse <br /> that the 9th Village Holiday be set as the Friday following Thanksgiving Day. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> • Mayor O'Connor moved and seconded by Councilman Emond that the engineers <br /> certificate-in the amount of $14.40 be approved. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Emond, Crouse, Springer <br /> Nay: None <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The Village Manager was directed to withhold approval of Foodtown Inc. request <br /> for 3.2 beer and cigarette licenses until a traffic profile is submitted for <br /> customer grocery pick up. <br /> Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the <br /> licenses be approved as submitted withthe exception as noted in the case of <br /> Foodtown's licenses. <br /> HEATING: Egan b Sons <br /> GARBAGE: Allstate Disposal Service <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Emond that the properly <br /> verified claims be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the request <br /> for a temporary sign for the Nativity Lutheran Church to advertise their <br /> annul pancake breakfast, to be located on church property, be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
