-3- <br /> The <br /> 3-The matter of the sloping of property abutting the South side of the holding <br /> pond at Highcrest Road was discussed. A slope of 3 to 1 was recommended by the <br /> Park Board. The sodding of the slope by the property developer was also <br /> discussed. Mr. Bailey was to attend the March 19th Planning Board meeting, <br /> to present the Park Board's recommendation. The Board next recommended the <br /> hiring of David Bennett, architect, for the preliminary design of the Central <br /> Park Shelter. <br /> Motion By Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the Mayor and <br /> Village Manager be authorized to enter into contract on behalf of the Village <br /> with Mr. David Bennett, for the preliminary design of the proposed Central <br /> Park Shelter at a cost of not to exceed $500.00. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Springer that the <br /> Village Manager be authorized to contract with the State Board of Electricity <br /> for electrical inspection service. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> After discussion, motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor O'Connor <br /> that the final payment to Northern Contracting Company in the amount of <br /> $4,227.01 for the construction of the Central Park Wading Pool be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> DeWayne Olson reported that flow checks have been made of sewage discharged <br /> into the Minneapolis System and that as soon as the information was compiled, <br /> a meeting would be arranged with Mr. Ridge, sewage engineer, Minneapolis, to <br /> discuss the new sewer contract. <br /> Councilman Springer introduced Resolution No. 68-016 and moved that it be <br /> adopted. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 68-016 <br /> RESOLUTION REVOKING COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAYS <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Mayor O'Connor, <br /> Voting on the resolution: <br /> Aye: O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Crouse <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent not voting: Emond <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> Mayor O' Connor introduced Resolution No. 68-017 and moved that it be <br /> • adopted. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 68-017 <br /> RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING MUNICIPAL STATE AID <br /> STREET. <br />
