-6- <br /> AV -. <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the properly <br /> verified claims be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Councilman Emond, that the <br /> Ramsey County auditors claim in the amount of $437.58 for construction of <br /> County Ditch #2 be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the Ramsey <br /> County Auditor's claim in the amount of $8223.84 for the construction of <br /> County Ditch #3 be approved. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the Village <br /> of St. Anthony advance the City of Columbia Heights share ie 38.6% x $617.85 <br /> of the Ramsey County Auditors claim for the construction of County Ditch #3 • <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Mayor O 'Connor introduced Resolution No. 68-032 and moved that it be adopted. <br /> RESOLUTION NO. 68-032 <br /> RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE APPORTIONMENT OF SPECIAL <br /> ASSESSMENT FOR LOCAL IMPROVEMENT. <br /> • The Resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Springer. <br /> Voting on the resolution: <br /> Aye : O'Connor, Springer, Dougherty, Emand, Crouse <br /> Nay: None <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> The matter of the appointment of a Park Committee was brought up for discussion <br /> with the consent of the Council . After considerable discussion, the Village <br /> Attorney was directed to report on the make up of such a commission as to <br /> number of members and eligibility of members to serve according to State <br /> Statutes. <br /> Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the <br /> matter of appointing a Recreation Commission be tabled to the May 28, 19601 <br /> meeting. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the <br /> meeting be adjourned. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Mayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> Vi l la e RC1 erk r i t lage Manager <br />
