-5- <br /> Mrs. Donna Nickerson stated that the study conmittee was ready to meet with <br /> the Council at any time to review the report submitted by them. The Council <br /> decided against any separate meetings and directed the meeting be held, as <br /> scheduled, on July 23rd and that the Village Manager contact the school district <br /> and reserve the cafetorium for the meeting. <br /> A request for a feasibility study by the Planning Board in regard to low <br /> income housing was directed forwarded to Chairman Howitz. <br /> The Council gave verbal approval to the stubbing out of an extension of the <br /> Silver Lane Storm Sewer to provide for rear property drainage between <br /> Fordham Drive and Shamrock Dr. south of Silver Lane. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond that the request <br /> of N.S.P. Company for the extension of underground conduit at 33rd Avenue N.E. <br /> and Edwards St. Be approved per plan submitted. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Springer and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the <br /> cost participation agreement with Hennepin County on the intersection imp- <br /> rovement of Silver Lake Road and 33rd Avenue N.E. be approved and the Mayor <br /> and Village Manager be authorized to sign said agreement. <br /> Voting on the motions <br /> Ayes O'Connor, Dougherty, Springer, Emond, Crouse <br /> • Nay: None <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> The Sign Ordinance was next reviewed by the Council. Councilman Dougherty <br /> stated that the Ordinance should be adjusted to bring it into line with Council <br /> practice. Ike felt that the Ordinance should be enforced as written or <br /> modified. <br /> The matter was referred to the Planning Board for review and possible recon- <br /> sideration of pylon requirements for gas stations. <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Councilman Crouse that N.S.P. <br /> permit #48150 for relocation of power poles on Kenzie Terrace be approved <br /> per plan.. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Dougherty and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the <br /> licenses be approved as submitted. <br /> HEATING: Standard Heating <br /> Centraire, Inc. <br /> Katz Plumbing <br /> Frank's Heating <br /> Faricon, Inc. <br /> Modern Heating & Air Conditioning <br /> VENDING MACHINES : Larry's Standard Service <br /> Gold Medal - Apache Car Wash <br /> Motion Carried. <br />
