Motion carried. <br /> Dr. Berglund appeared re: Human Relations Sub Committee recommendations. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the matter <br /> of the appointment of a Human Relations Sub Committee with two representatives <br /> from each church denomination be removed from the table and that said Educational <br /> Sub Committee be approved as recommended. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Levandowski introducted Resolution #69-025 and moved its adoption_ <br /> tESOLUTION #69-025 <br /> A RESOLUTION SETTING THE DATE FOR A SPECIAL ELECTION <br /> AND THE FORM OF THE NEW BALLOT. <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Counc;ilmait Levendowski. <br /> Voting on the resolution: <br /> Aye: Emond, Crouse, Levandowski, Dougherty <br /> Nay: None <br /> Absent not voting: O'Connor <br /> • Resolution declared adopted. <br /> Councilman Dougherty requested that the Village Clerk and Liquor Store Manager <br /> attend the June 24th meeting to discuss the 1st quarter liquor report. <br /> The police report for the month of May was received and ordered filed. <br /> A letter of wage demands of Local #49 was reviewed. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the <br /> check for $100.00 be accepted from the Elim Baptist Church and that a letter <br /> of appreciation be forwarded to the pastor and congregation. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that the <br /> State Labor Conciliator be requested to hold an election to determine union <br /> representation by the Fire Department. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Johnson appeared re: a proposed cul de sac at the East end of Silver Lake <br /> Court. After discussion the Village Engineer was directed to prepare a proposal <br /> for the closing off of the Silver Lake Road entrance to Silver Lake Court. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Coucilman Levandowski that pre- <br /> liminary approval be given for a 60' cul de sac on the East end of Silver Lake <br /> • Court and that the Village Engineer be directed to prepare drawings for the <br /> June 24th meeting. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br />
