VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> June 24, 1969 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call : O'Connor, Crouse, Emond, Levandowski, <br /> Dougherty. <br /> Absent : None <br /> Also present: Raymond Haik, Village Attorney <br /> John Printon, Village Manager <br /> It was noted that in the matter of the second to the motion to the adoption of <br /> Resolution #69-025, minutes of June 10, 1969, that the minutes should read <br /> second by Councilman Crouse. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond that the minutes of <br /> the regular meeting of June 10, 1969 be approved as amended. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Dune Meidtke presented the Planning Board Minutes of June ,17, 1969. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that the <br /> Council concur in the recommendation of the Planning Board that the request to <br /> use a dwelling unit at 2542 Kenzie Terrace as a business office be denied. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Bill Kelly, Towle Company, appeared re: a parking plan for the St.Anthony <br /> Shopping Center. The plan was reviewed by the Council and discussed at length. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor O'Connor that the parking plan <br /> be approved and that the shopping center owners be commended for their cooperation. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The matter of the vacation of Coolidge Street in the St. Anthony Shopping Center <br /> was discussed. Mr. John Sroga, Sroga 's Pure Oil expressed concern over the loss <br /> of access to the cafe adjacent to his service station. After further discussion <br /> with affected property owners, Councilman Crouse moved and seconded by Councilman <br /> Levandowski that the matter be forwarded to the Planning Board to facilitate the <br /> drafting of a mutual use agreement between the affected parties. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Dougherty that no parking <br /> ban on the east side of Coolidge Street in the St. Anthony Shopping Center be <br /> waived for a period of 30 days. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Mayor O'Connor and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the Planning <br /> Board be directed to hold a public hearing regarding the closing of 27th Avenue <br /> N.E. at Kenzie Terrace. <br />
