VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY COUNCIL MINUTES January 27, 1970 The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. The following were present : Miedtke, Emond, Crouse, Levandowski, Kukielka Absent: None Also Present : Village Attorney, Larry Vickrey Village Manager, John R. Printon It was noted that on page 1 of the minutes of the meeting of January 13, 1970, the motion referring to the appointment of Bob Dougherty to the Planning Board should be deleted. It was also noted that in the middle of page 7 of the minutes of the January 13, 1970 meeting regarding snowmobile ordinances, the minutes should read "Obtain copies of Snowmobile Ordinances from the Minnesota League of Municipalities". It was further noted that at the bottom of page 7 of the minutes of the January 13, 1970 meeting the motion regarding the "1040 Tax Service" sign should show the amendment as carried first and then the motion as amended carried. Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that the minutes of the meeting of January 13, 1970, be approved as amended. Robert Messenbring presented the minutes of the January 20, 1970, Planning Board. Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse that we approve a 5, foot rear yard variance as requested at 2400-34th Revenue N.E. Motion carried. The Cot_!ncil was informed that the Planning Board had tabled the rezoning on the Hedlund property until the February meeting. Council reviewed the proposal submitted by Buetow and Associates for the construction of a two story office building on Lot 7, Block 1, St. Anthony Office Park. Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Crouse to approve the issuing of a building permit to Buetow and Associates to construct a two story office building as submitted, subject to the approval of the building inspector. Motion carried. 40 ,-�L The Mayor declared that the adjourned public hearing for the consideration of Mater Main Improvement 1953-1 was open for discussion. The Mayor reviewed the history of the assessment procedure and Village Attorney, Larry Vickrey, re- viewed the legal ramifications of the assessments.
