VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> January 27, 1970 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> The following were present : Miedtke, Emond, Crouse, Levandowski, Kukielka <br /> Absent: None <br /> Also Present : Village Attorney, Larry Vickrey <br /> Village Manager, John R. Printon <br /> It was noted that on page 1 of the minutes of the meeting of January 13, 1970, <br /> the motion referring to the appointment of Bob Dougherty to the Planning Board <br /> should be deleted. <br /> It was also noted that in the middle of page 7 of the minutes of the January 13, <br /> 1970 meeting regarding snowmobile ordinances, the minutes should read "Obtain <br /> copies of Snowmobile Ordinances from the Minnesota League of Municipalities". <br /> It was further noted that at the bottom of page 7 of the minutes of the January <br /> 13, 1970 meeting the motion regarding the "1040 Tax Service" sign should show <br /> the amendment as carried first and then the motion as amended carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski that the <br /> minutes of the meeting of January 13, 1970, be approved as amended. <br /> Robert Messenbring presented the minutes of the January 20, 1970, Planning Board. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse that we approve <br /> a 5, foot rear yard variance as requested at 2400-34th Revenue N.E. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Cot_!ncil was informed that the Planning Board had tabled the rezoning on the <br /> Hedlund property until the February meeting. <br /> Council reviewed the proposal submitted by Buetow and Associates for the <br /> construction of a two story office building on Lot 7, Block 1, St. Anthony Office <br /> Park. <br /> Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Crouse to approve the <br /> issuing of a building permit to Buetow and Associates to construct a two story <br /> office building as submitted, subject to the approval of the building inspector. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> 40 ,-�L <br /> The Mayor declared that the adjourned public hearing for the consideration of <br /> Mater Main Improvement 1953-1 was open for discussion. The Mayor reviewed the <br /> history of the assessment procedure and Village Attorney, Larry Vickrey, re- <br /> viewed the legal ramifications of the assessments. <br />
