s <br /> -2- <br /> The <br /> 2-The Village Attorney was directed to draft a Snowmobile Ordinance for consider- <br /> ation in two weeks. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Kukielka that the proposal <br /> of Layne of Minnesota Company to pull and inspect Well #4 be accepted as per <br /> their letter dated January 23, 1970 in the estimated amount of $551.63. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Council gave voice approval to the acceptance of the new water pumping <br /> rate to substitute for the interruptable rate on which basis the Village is <br /> presently served. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the <br /> Village reinstall the "No Parking Sign" 9 P.M. to 2 A.M., on the North side <br /> of 27th Avenue N.E. from Wilson Street to the alley West of 3 Circle Drive In. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Village Attorney requested Council approval to explore the possibility of <br /> settlement of the former Volunteer Fire Department law suit. <br /> Councilman Crouse moved and seconded by Councilman Kukielka that the Village <br /> • Attorney be directed to explore a negotiated settlement possibility with the <br /> attorney for the former Volunteer Fire Department. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Kukielka that the <br /> lir�nse request of U.S. Bench Corporation be approved. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Kukielka that the <br /> hearing license e H.S. Horwitz, Inc. be approved as requested. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Levandowski and seconded by Councilman Crouse that the <br /> certificate of the engineer, Improvement 1969-1, $1,727.44 be approved as sub- <br /> mitted. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> A discussion of Council Meeting Rules was tabled to the 1st meeting in March. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor Miedtke that the Village <br /> Manager be directed to contact the City of Minneapolis regarding execution of <br /> a mutual aid agreement. <br /> • Motion carried. <br />
