• -3- <br /> Councilman <br /> 3-Councilman Levandowski introduced Resolution 70-017 and moved its adoption. <br /> RESOLUTION 70-017 <br /> RESOLUTION RELATING TO THE APPORTION- <br /> MENT OF SPECIAL ASSESSMENTS FOR LOCAL <br /> IMPROVEMENTS <br /> The resolution was duly seconded by Councilman Kukielka. <br /> Voting on the resolution: <br /> Aye: Crouse, Emond, Miedtke, Levandowski, Kukielka <br /> Nay: None <br /> Resolution declared adopted. <br /> The agreement regarding Ditch #3 was referred to the Village Attorney for his <br /> review and the preparation of a resolution for consideration by the Council. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski directing the <br /> Village Manager to inform the League of Minnesota Municipalities that we are not <br /> interested in the service they suggested in their communication regarding the use <br /> of a consultant in labor negotiations. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond that we get a bid fog• <br /> the 60 foot fence only for Central Park and if the bid is $135.00 for #9 wire, to <br /> proceed with constructing the fence. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Kukielka to authorize the <br /> Village Manager to check into the cost of a lightweight wire fence at Silver Point <br /> Park to be put above the fence already there; and if it goes over $150.00 to <br /> contact the Council . <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Kukielka to grant <br /> Conditional Use Permit 1970-1 to Mr. Gordon Hedlund. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Crouse, Miedtke, Kukielka <br /> Nay: Emond, Levandowski <br /> • Motion carried. <br /> Public Safety Director, Wayne Leonard, presented a report to the Council making <br /> several recommendations for the Police and Fire Departments. <br />
