VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> June 9, 1970 <br /> The meeting was called to order by the Mayor at 8:00 o'clock P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call : Crouse, Emond, Miedtke, Levandowski. <br /> Absent : None <br /> Also Present : Village Attorney, Larry Vickrey <br /> Village Manager, John R. Printon <br /> The following corrections on the minutes of the May 26, 1970 meeting were noted: <br /> On the lower half of Page 2 the motion by Councilman Crouse regarding the platting <br /> of the Gaza Strip should be reworded to read as follows : "Motion by Councilman <br /> Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond that we require this property be platted <br /> before occupancy into two lots, with ratios of 4/9 and 5/9 of the total area <br /> apportioned respectively to the number of apartment buildings lying therein, and <br /> that the 150 foot strip bordering Silver Lane be dedicated on the plat for scenic, <br /> open space, and drainage easements as approved by the Village and that the Council <br /> receive a copy of the Protective Covenant prior to the issuing of the building <br /> permit and that the first reading of the rezoning Ordinance 1970-8 be approved." <br /> Motion by Mayor Miedtke and seconded by Councilman Crouse to approve the minutes <br /> . of the May 26, 1970 meeting as corrected. ; <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The following corrections on the Special Meeting of June 2, 1970 were noted: <br /> In the middle of Page 1 the Village Manager was directed to submit a "Guidance" <br /> schedule rather than "Penalty" schedule. <br /> Trr,�rd the bottom of Page 1 Councilman Crouse requested that the Council "Present" <br /> rather than "Forward" a plaque to Councilman Kukielka. <br /> Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to approve the <br /> minutes of the Special Meeting of June 2, 1970 as corrected. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Mayor made some suggestions for additions to the Planning Board Ordinance <br /> 3970-7. <br /> Action was tabled on the Planning Board Ordinance, subject to the including of <br /> the additions suggested by the Mayor. <br /> Notion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to adopt Ordinance <br /> 1970-8 and that it be read. Also that if Ramsey County does not accept the <br /> fourth sentence of paragraph 4 on page 2 ('The plat shall contain the dedication <br /> of a scenic, open space and drainage easement to the Village of St. Anthony over <br /> the portion of the premises to be platted now described as Outlot A Apache Plaza"); <br /> that sentence be rewritten to read 'The Village will accept a quick claim deed <br /> dedicated to scenic use, the 150 foot strip of land bordering on Silver Lane in thf <br />
