-3- request of Mr. Lindstrom for a concession license to the Corner Soft Ball Team for July 4th and 5th. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Emond and seconded by Councilman Levandowski to table action on the issuance of a lost coupon to Miss Emma Ryan for thirty days. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Levandowski to pay the statements from the Village Attorneys, Halla Smith, Juster, Feikema and Haskvitz, for April and May in the amounts of $437.50 and $280.00 subject to the approval of the Village Manager. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to table action on the Finance and Commerce matter regarding the use of Village Water Records with direction to the Village Manager to prevent them from exploring the records. Motion carried. It was suggested that �t the first meeting in July the Council attempt to set a • meeting date with the Planning Board regarding the rezoning of the area around 39th Avenue N.E. and Silver Lake Road. Motion by Mayor Miedtke and seconded by Councilman Emond to grant the license to the Blue Flame Contractors as requested. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Mayor Miedtke to pay the verified claims. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Crouse and seconded by Councilman Emond to increase the salaries of the Village Manager 15% from $1250.00 to $1437.50, of the Finance- Officer-Clerk from $1100.00 to $1200.00, the Chief of Police-Fire from $1100.00 to $1300.00, the Clerk-Treasurer from $605.00 to $650.00, and the Recreation Director from $1000.00 to $1100.00, with one=half of the increase for the Recreation Director being paid by the School District; and that these increases be effective July 1, 1970.
