ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> January 8, 197+ <br /> Carol Johnson, City Clerk administered the oath of office to Duane Miedtke as <br /> Mayor and Robert Sundland and Donna Stauffer as Councilmen of the City of St. <br /> Anthony at 7:30 P.M. <br /> The meeting was then called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 7:32 P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call: Stauffer, Sundland, Miedtke, Sauer and <br /> Haik. <br /> Also present: Jerry Dulgar, City Manager <br /> Larry Vickrey, Attorney <br /> Jim Fornell, Adm. Asst. <br /> Carol Johnson, Clerk <br /> The following corrections were made to the Council minutes of December 11, 1973: <br /> Page 2, para. 3: James Stephens rather than Mrs. James Stephens <br /> was nominated to serve on the Human Rights Commission and "his" <br /> should be substituted for "her" regarding Councilman's Sundland's <br /> nominations. <br /> Page 4. para. 5: The litigation against Ramsey County should be <br /> identified as "regarding County Ditch 2 and 3". . <br /> Motion by Councilman Stauffer and seconded by Councilman Sundland to approve the <br /> minutes of December 11, 1973 as amended. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Council discussed the recommendations by the Planning Board December 18,1973 <br /> for concept approval of the building which Hewlett-Packard proposes to construct <br /> in the St. Anthony Office Park. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Haik to table action on the <br /> request by Hewlett-Packard until a presentation of the proposed building is made <br /> to the Council. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mayor Miedtke reported that there had been three resignations submitted by members <br /> of the Planning Board. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Sauer to reappoint the <br /> four remaining members of the Planning Board to serve on the Board for 197+. These <br /> are Grace McGinn, Donald Kronk, Richard Letourneau and Richard Carlson. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Haik that the Council in- <br /> terview applicants to fill the vacancies on the Planning Board at 7:30 P.M. <br /> January 17, 197+ in the office of the City Manager and that acceptance of <br /> applications be cut off at 5:00 P.M. the 17th. The motion also directed the <br /> Manager to have the notice of the interviews published in the Sun Newspapers <br /> January 16th and to issue invitations and schedules of interviews to all applicants <br /> for the positions before the meeting. <br />
