ANTHONY FOR 1974 <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mayor Miedtke expressed his commendation of Manager Dulgar and Clerk Johnson <br /> for their fine business practices which resulted in the City staying under the <br /> budget set for 1973. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to adopt <br /> Resolution 73-056. <br /> 40 RESOLUTION 73-056 <br /> A RESOLUTION MODIFYING THE 1973 BUDGET <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Haik to adopt Resolution <br /> 74-oll. <br /> RESOLUTION 74-011 <br /> RESOLUTION APPROVING COUNTY ROAD <br /> MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Councilman Haik reported on numerous complaints she had received regarding the <br /> hazards of entering or crossing Silver Lake Road from Silver Lane and a discussion <br /> followed on the possible inaccuracy of the traffic count taken by Ramsey County <br /> when that portion of Silver Lake Road from 29th Avenue N.F. to the Village Hall <br /> was closed for construction this summer. <br /> Motion by Councilman Haik and seconded by Councilman Sundland to direct the <br /> Manager to contact the Ramsey County Highway Dept. indicating the Council's <br /> concern with hazards for both vehicular and pedestrian traffic at the intersection <br /> of Silver Lake Road and Silver Lane and their desire that the highway department <br /> give some consideration to placing of a traffic sign and/or signal at that spot <br /> • and to take another traffic count now that normal traffic has resumed on Silver <br /> Lake Road with the request that Ramsey County present to the Council their plans <br /> and timetable for alleviating the traffic problem. <br /> Motion carried. <br />
