CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> March 26, 1974 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 7:30 P.M. <br /> The following were present at roll call: Sauer, Sundland, Miedtke, Stauffer. <br /> Councilman Haik arrived at 7:35 P.M. <br /> Also present: Jerry Dulgar, City Manager <br /> Larry Vickrey, City Attorney (Left at 10:55 P.M.) <br /> Jim Fornell, Adm, Assistant <br /> I.C. Comstock, City Engineer <br /> The following amendment to the minutes of the Council meeting March 12, 1974: <br /> Page 3, para. 2: Strike. .. ."and the Planning Board". . . . <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer and seconded by Councilman Sundland to approve the <br /> minutes as amended. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mrs. Marlys Berg, Chairman of the Taman Relations Committee explained the minutes <br /> of that committee's meeting March 5, 1974. She presented a rough draft of the <br /> letter the group was writing to Judge Arthur and Mayor Miedtke asked her permiss- <br /> ion to have copies made for the Council members for their comments. Mrs. Berg <br /> also reported on the attendance of Hans Selvog, Community Youth representative, <br /> • at the meeting and said he would report on a monthly basis to them. Mr. Dulgar <br /> also reported on his meetings with Mr. Selvog. Mr. Snuer told the Council that <br /> Mr. George Marks, 3121+ Silver Lake Road, -,,-as his nominee to serve on the committ- <br /> ee and this appointment would fill the membership roster for 1974. Mie minutes <br /> were filed. <br /> �s. Grace McGinn, Chairman of the Planning Board, presented the recommendations <br /> r1 to the Council which had been Tilade at the Board's meeting, Larch 19, 1971+. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Council;nan Sundland to approve granting <br /> a lot size variance so that a single family dwelling could be erected to replace <br /> the Munkberg home at 3508 Roosevelt Sc. N.E. which had been destroyed by fire. <br /> \ M tion carried. <br /> �Mr. Ray Marshall of Midwest Planning presented the topographical as well as <br /> parking and landscaping plans for the proposed conversion of the home at 3901 <br /> Silver Lake Road to a real estate office. Mrs. Carol Frown, 3511 37th Avenue <br /> N.E., of the Frederick Herfurth Real Estate Company requested a conditional use <br /> permit for that company who she reported had purchased the property from Mr. & <br /> Mrs. Frank Holien. <br /> A discussion followed on the amount of parking space needed to service the 8 or <br /> 10 employees who would use the office as well as the problems which might arise <br /> if the existing curb cut were allowed to be used as a driveway at the corner of <br /> 39th and Silver Lake Road. <br /> ' r� <br />
