-2- <br /> Mayor <br /> 2-Mayor Miedtke and Councilman Haik expressed reluctance to consider the condition- <br /> al use permit until the Council had ascertained how such a use of the land would <br /> fit into the zoning ordinance revision which the Planning Board is working on. <br /> There also was a discussion of waiting until the Council was certain the Rembrandt <br /> Company had actually started building the retirement apartments previously <br /> approved by the Council for the adjoining property. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Sundland to direct the <br /> Planning Board to hold a public hearing at their next meeting April 16,1974, <br /> on granting a conditional use permit for a real estate office to the Herfurth Co. <br /> on the W. 186 ft. of Lot 9, Block 6, Moundsview 2nd Addn. unless, prior to <br /> publication of a notice of sty^h a hearing, the applicant requests a postponement <br /> of the hearing. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Sauer, Sundland, Stauffer <br /> Nay: Haik, Miedtke <br /> :Mo <br /> on carried. <br /> McGinn and a representative f':r- Mr. Henry Murlowski, contractor, presented <br /> the request for a building permit to erect a 50 x 100 ft. addition to Aro Ind. <br /> at 3615 29th Avenue N.E. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, se•ernded by Councilman Haik to grant a building per- <br /> mit for the addition to the Aro building subject to the landscaping plans being <br /> approved by the City Manager, seven parking spaces at the S.E. corner of the <br /> . present building being moved to the resr of thLe addition, all lean-tos and other <br /> appurtenances for which a b uildi:lg permit has not been granted being removed, <br /> breakoff block being used on a 7;orticn cf the addition exterior and the remainder <br /> of the exterior being painted to give a more Jecorative effect, Find on the <br /> condition that tine struc tli n m�-et all applicable building codes. <br /> ",- Motion carried. <br /> Mrs. McGinn gave the Council the Planning Board's recommendation regarding the <br /> proposed Wetlands Ordinance and invited the Council to attend the Board's work <br /> session April 2, 1974 for a di.scussicn of the revision of the zoning ordinance. <br /> Motion by Mayor Miedtke, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to waive further read- <br /> ings and adopt Ordinance 1974-003 with 13 cents per mile to be set as the amount <br /> of reimbursement of employees for use of their personal automobiles for city <br /> business. <br /> , ,OPDINANCE 1974-003 <br /> AN ORDINANCE RELATING TO THE REIMBURSEMENT <br /> OF EMPLOYEES FOR USE OF THEIR PERSONAL AUTO- <br /> MOBILEeS; AME MING SUBDIVISION 1 OF SECTION <br /> 13'5:87 OF THE 1973 CODE OF ORVINANCES <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Mayor Miedtke to waive further readings <br /> and adopt Ordinance 1974-002. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> r-" <br />
