-4- <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> • Aye: Miedtke, Sundland <br /> Nay: Sauer, Stauffer <br /> Abstain: Haik <br /> Motion not carried. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Haik to again join the <br /> day camping program offered by the St. Paul Association for Retarded Citizens <br /> and the Roseville Parks and Recreation Department and to appropriate $150 <br /> for participation by the City of St. Anthony residents in the program. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> Mr. Dulgar was instructed to get further details from the Metro Transit Commission <br /> regarding the complete service which will be given the City of St. Anthony under <br /> the changes in bus routes they proposed and the timetable for such changes. <br /> Motion by Mayor Miedtke, seconded by Councilman Sauer to grant permission to Rod <br /> Hopp Shows to put on a carnival at the St. Anthony Shopping Center April 22nd to <br /> April 28, 197+ subject to the following conditions: <br /> 1. Obtain the permission of the St. Anthony merchants. <br /> 2. Security personnel to be retained to supervise from 2:00 P.M. to <br /> closing on Saturday and Sunday and from 6:00 P.M. to closing on week <br /> nights. <br /> 3. Operation only during the hours the shopping center is open for <br /> • business. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> No action ta,:-,en on the U of M request that the G,ii•,y of St. Antbony participate <br /> in the experimental enerU conservation projects of the University's School of <br /> Architecture and Landr,capin3. <br /> Motion by Councilman Haik, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to authorize the <br /> City Manager to paxticip&te, as he deems feasible, in the work program which the <br /> Hennepin County Welfare Department is carrying out under the General Assistance <br /> Act of 1973. <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The Fire and Police Reports were filed following reports from Mr. Dulgar on dog <br /> patrolling efforts of B & E and the affirmative results of the services of the <br /> patrolman -Whose duties are mainly working with the juveniles of the community. <br /> Mr. Jerry McCloskey did not appear to present the report his firm had prepared <br /> and no action on the matter was taken. <br /> Motion by Councilman Haik, seconded by Councilman Sundland to grant all licenses <br /> listed in the March 26, 197+ agenda. <br /> • Motion carried. <br />
