Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Haik to again join the day camping program offered by the St. Paul Association for Retarded Citizens and the Roseville Parks and Recreation Department and to appropriate $150 for participation by the City of St. Anthony residents in the program. Motion carried. Mr. Dulgar was instructed to get further details from the Metro Transit Commission regarding the complete service which will be given the City of St. Anthony under the changes in bus routes they proposed and the timetable for such changes. Motion by Mayor Miedtke, seconded by Councilman Sauer to grant permission to Rod Hopp Shows to put on a carnival at the St. Anthony Shopping Center April 22nd to April 28, 197+ subject to the following conditions: 1. Obtain the permission of the St. Anthony merchants. 2. Security personnel to be retained to supervise from 2:00 P.M. to closing on Saturday and Sunday and from 6:00 P.M. to closing on week nights. 3. Operation only during the hours the shopping center is open for • business. Motion carried. Motion by Councilman Haik, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to authorize the City Manager to paxticip&te, as he deems feasible, in the work program which the Hennepin County Welfare Department is carrying out under the General Assistance Act of 1973. Motion carried. The Fire and Police Reports were filed following reports from Mr. Dulgar on dog patrolling efforts of B & E and the affirmative results of the services of the patrolman -Whose duties are mainly working with the juveniles of the community. Mr. Jerry McCloskey did not appear to present the report his firm had prepared and no action on the matter was taken. Motion by Councilman Haik, seconded by Councilman Sundland to grant all licenses listed in the March 26, 197+ agenda. • Motion carried.
