ORDINANCE 1971+-002 <br /> AN ORDINANCE REIATING TO SIGNS; AMENDING <br /> SECTION 1+30:1+0 OF THE 1973 CODE OF ORDINANCES <br /> Councilman Sauer reported on the meeting of the Community Services Advisory <br /> • Committee March 20, 1974 where a discussion of the City's establishing a mini- <br /> park at the corner of St. Anthony Road and Roosevelt St. N.E. was held. A <br /> number of neighbors living near the property which is owned by Mr. & Mrs. Joe <br /> Sroga urged the Council to approve the purchase of the southerly one and one-half <br /> lots from the Srogas for approximately $17,000 and setting this area aside as a <br /> play park for the very young children of the neighborhood. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to refer the ac- <br /> quisition of 1- lots at the coiner of St. Anthony Road and Roosevelt St. N.E. <br /> for a park area to the Planning Board for consideration at their April 2, 1974 <br /> meeting and request that the Board report their recommendations to the Council <br /> at their April 9 meeting and at that same meeting the City Manager be directed to <br /> report the results of his review of potential funding for the project. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Haik, Sauer, Miedtke, Stauffer <br /> Nay: Sundland <br /> Motion carried. <br /> The meeting recessed at 9:25 P.M. and reconvened at 9:25 P.M. <br /> Mr. Comstock gave a report on the bidding on the water pressure project which <br /> had been held that noon. <br /> .
