Dulgar as <br /> • alternate. <br /> RESOLUTION 75-021 <br /> RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING PARTICIPATION IN <br /> THE SUBURBAN RATE AUTHORITY; DIRECTING <br /> THE EXECUTION AND DELIVERY OF A JOINT <br /> POWERS AGREEMENT; AND DESIGNATING A <br /> RFPRFSFNTATIVF OF THE CITY AS ITS MEMBER <br /> ON THE BOARD OF THE SUBURBAN RATE AUTHORITY <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The Suburban Public Health Report was filed as informational. <br /> During the discussion of the Police and Fire Reports for February 1975, the <br /> Manager told the Council that the Ride--Along Project had been initiated by the <br /> Police Department with 22 St. Anthony High School students participating during <br /> their Faster holiday by riding in the squad cars, attending court sessions and <br /> visiting the Mpls. Workhouse. Councilman Sundland indicated an interest in <br /> participating personally in the program. <br /> There was also conversation about the success of Patrolman Hickerson's contacts <br /> with juveniles and their parents and Councilmen Sauer and Stauffer indicated an <br /> interest in having the police reports identify the juveniles who are involved in <br /> tags or arrests as residents and repeaters when such is the case. <br /> Mr. Dulgar reported on his and Mayor Miedtke's meeting with representatives of the <br /> School District ;r282 School Board regarding assessment policies. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Sauer to grant all licenses <br /> listed in the March 25, 1975 agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to table action on <br /> the Rod Hopp Shows application for permission to operate a carnival at Apache <br /> Plaza Shopping Center until the Manager has an opportunity to ascertain whether <br /> the Apache merchants are in favor of the project. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Sundland to approve payment of <br /> $203.68 to Comstock & Davis for services rendered in February,1975. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to approve payment <br /> of all verified claims listed in the March 25, 1975 agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Fd Hance, Chairman of the 1975 fall celebration, arrived at 8:50 P.M. and <br /> • told of his plans for the festival enlisting the Council for their aid and <br /> support of the venture. He said he planned to make the project self-supporting <br /> by seeking a great deal more involvement by merchants of both the St. Anthony <br /> Shopping Center and Apache Plaza and hoped to get so many people in the City <br />
