-4- <br /> Mr. <br /> k-Mr. Dulgar gave some clarifying points to his memorandum of April 4, 1975 re- <br /> garding the proposed assessment policy and was instructed to incorporate the <br /> unit basis of assessing tax exempt property into the policy for consideration <br /> of the Council at the next meeting. <br /> The construction of 29th Avenue N.E. is to be included on the Agenda for the <br /> April 22nd, 1975 Council meeting. <br /> The Manager reported on communications he had received from residents regarding <br /> the potential traffic hazards at the intersection of Highway 8 and St. Anthony <br /> Boulevard and the Mayor told of the "Action News" query to him regarding the <br /> City's efforts to make that intersection safer. Mr. Dulgar was directed to <br /> request the Minnesota Highway Dept. to place "Dangerous Intersection Ahead" <br /> signs at both approaches to the intersection. There was also a discussion of <br /> the placement of bus stops on the curve of St. Anthony Boulevard where it <br /> crosses Kenzie Terrace as well as that stop along Highway 8 in front of the <br /> shopping center. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to grant all <br /> licenses listed in the April 8, 1975 agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland, seconded by Councilman Sauer to approve payment <br /> of $4,000 to Harrison House for furnishings in the municipal liquor lounge. <br /> • Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to approve payment <br /> of all verified claims listed in the April 8, 1975 agenda. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer, seconded by Councilman Stauffer to grant a 60 day <br /> extension to Medtronics for the removal of the mobil home on the plant: site. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> The presence of Wm. Lonsky, a prospective Eagle Scout, and his father, Ben <br /> Lonsky, as spectators were acknowledged. <br /> It was noted that a Special Meeting of the Council was scheduled to be held <br /> in the Manager's office at 5:30 P.M.
