CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> . COUNCIL MINUTES <br /> April 22,1975 <br /> The meeting was called to order by Mayor Miedtke at 7:32 P.M. <br /> The following were present for roll call: Haik, Sauer, Sundland, Miedtke and <br /> Stauffer. <br /> Also present: Jerry Dulgar, City Manager <br /> Wm. Soth, City Attorney <br /> Larry Hamer, Supt. of Public Works <br /> Jim Fornell, Adm. Asst. <br /> I.C. Comstock, City Engineer (arrived later) <br /> The following amendments were made to the minutes of the April 8, 1975 Council <br /> meeting. <br /> Page 1-last. para. : Substitute "subject to receipt of a certified agreement" <br /> for "subject to agreement". <br /> Page 3-2nd para. : Substitute "enterprises in violation of City ordinances: <br /> for "enterprises not licensed by the City" <br /> Motion by Councilman Stauffer, seconded by Councilman Sauer to approve the minutes <br /> of April 8, 1975 as amended. <br /> • Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Mr. Ken Hiebel presented the recommendations of the Planning Board as arrived at <br /> during their meeting of April 15, 1975. <br /> The following motion was made: <br /> X <br /> Motion by Councilman Haik, seconded by Councilman Stauffer that the Council will <br /> hold a Public Hearing at 8 P.M. during its May 13, 1975 meeting to consider Mr. & <br /> Mrs. Jack Maxwell's request for a 2 ft. front yard variance to allow them to <br /> construct a garage addition to the front of their home at 3205 Silver Lake Road. <br /> Mot'on carried unanimously. <br /> M� Hedlund a conditional a permit to con- <br /> vert <br /> and then presented his request for con use <br /> vert the residence he owns at 3909 Silver Lake Road for his own use as a construct- <br /> ion and land development office. <br /> Mr. Hiebel related the conditions under which the Board had recommended approval of <br /> the request. The discussion that followed touched on the improvement of the <br /> property by Mr. Hedlund; the necessity for proper screening of the office from the <br /> adjoining residential neighborhood; the removal of the garage and approval of <br /> Ramsey County of the curb cut as well as concurrence by Mr. Hedlund that the <br /> permit was to be granted exclusively to him for the usage he had presented. <br /> • Councilman Haik said that she felt the Council was obligated to allow Mr. Hedlund <br /> the same type of permit already granted the Herfurth Realty but expressed her <br /> regret that the request was being considered before the Council had acted on the <br /> proposed zoning ordinance changes. <br />
