Dulgar where he drew comparisons of the spaces <br /> to be gained at Parkview with that in the existing City Hall as well as the cost <br /> figures of operating the two buildings including the school's asking price of <br /> $22,355 for leasing. <br /> Motion by Mayor Miedtke and seconded by Councilman Stauffer to accept the proposal <br /> from School District #282 except that the figures quoted by the school officials <br /> be reduced by $5,000.00 for janitorial services. <br /> Voting on the motion: <br /> Aye: Miedtke <br /> Nay: Haik, Sauer and Stauffer. <br /> Motion not carried. <br /> Mayor Miedtke said that he felt that if the City used up its reserves in remodelling <br /> the Parkview School and paying the rental asked for the next three years, it would <br /> have grounds for seeking relief from the Legislature from their levy limitations <br /> but Councilman Haik opposed depleting the reserves and felt it would be hard to <br /> justify that action to the voters. <br /> Councilman Sauer felt the lease rrice was too high and wanted exact figures to <br /> justify the school's asking that amount. <br /> • Motion by Councilman Sauer and seconded by Councilman Haik to table action on the <br /> leasing agreement with District #282. <br /> Voting on the Motion: <br />
