to communicate further with the Lamppa company requesting they proceed with their <br /> utmost effort to fulfill their contract with the City or the City will be forced to <br /> take appropriate action. <br /> • Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Ze <br /> Mr. Ken Girard, 3621 Harding St. N.E., of the St. Anthony Lions Club appeared to <br /> request lis group be allowed to hold a donkey ball game at Central Park August 16. <br /> He said the Lions club with the aid of the Lionelles and the Minn Deaf Club of St. <br /> Paul had obtained the services of the Bob Crosby franchises of Chippewa Falls, Wis. <br /> Ha said the sponsors would clean up after the event. Although, he told the Council, <br /> the Lions International carried insurance against any mishaps, the local chapter <br /> would be happy to purchase an additional policy from the Crosby group which would <br /> protect the City against any claims for injury, etc. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sauer and seconded by Councilamn Haik to grant the St. Anthony <br /> Lions Club permission to hold a donkey ball game in Central Park on August 16, 1975, <br /> and alicense to sell beer and pop during the event with payment of the license fees <br /> waived under the condition that (a) a Certificate of Insurance be presented naming <br /> the City as insured and (b) the Lions agree to police the area and with approval <br /> subject to their aecttring the approval of the Community Services Advisory Department. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> hT. <br /> The minutes of the May 8 and 20 meeting of the Human Relations Advisory Committee <br /> were discussed with Marlys Berg, Chairman, and the resolution supporting the <br /> Committee's policy regarding an Affirmative Marketing Plan for Open Housing was <br /> • adopted. <br /> Motion by Councilman Stauffer and seconded by Mayor Miedtke to adopt Resolution <br /> #1975-032 <br /> RESOLUTION 1975-032 <br /> A RESOLUTION REGARDING AN AFFIRMATIVE <br /> MARKETING PIAN FOR OPEN HOUSING IN ST. <br /> ANTHONY <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Motion by Councilman Stauffer and sem nded by Councilman Haik to direct the Human <br /> Relations Advisory Committee to proceed with their Affirmative Marketing Plan for <br /> Open Housing in St. Anthony as hereby attached with the changes made as agreed. <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> Councilman Sauer then designated Sherry Good, 4024 Silver Lake Terrace, as his <br /> appointee to the Committee. <br /> Motion by Councilman Haik and seconded by Councilman Sauer to direct the City <br /> Manager to request the use of the Ramsey County Showboat for the Village Celebration <br /> on September 14. <br /> • Motion carried unanimously. <br /> June 30, and July 15th and 29th were the tentative dates set for the Council to <br />
