• Motion carried unanir^ously. <br /> Joseph McDonald, President of the St. Anthony Chapter of the American <br /> Association of Retired Persons and Harold Cope, President of the <br /> Golden Heirs were present to discuss the establishment of a task <br /> force to advise the Council and staff on the Senior Citizens Drop <br /> in Center. Both agreed to serve on this advisory group which will <br /> plan the disposition of the $6 ,000 designated for such a purpose <br /> from the 1976 Community Development Grant funds and will help set up <br /> the activities which will be a part of such a center. <br /> Motion by Councilman Stauffer and seconded by Councilnan Sundland to <br /> establish a task force to work with the City staff in forming a <br /> Senior Citizens Drop in Center which will include Joseph McDonald of <br /> the AARP, Harold Cope of the Golden Heirs , Councilman Sundland, <br /> Wil Johnson of the Planning Board, a yet to be designated member of <br /> the School Board and representatives of churches in St. Anthony. <br /> Motion carries? unanir^ously. <br /> Votion by Councilman Stauffer and seconded by Councilman Sauer to <br /> adopt Resolution 77-012 which will authorize the iriplementation of <br /> the Strength Change System by the Metro Waste Control Commission. <br /> • RESOLUTION 77-012 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING THE IMPL.FMFTITATION <br /> OF TEF STRENGTH CIIANGF SYSTEM BY THE METRO <br /> WASTF CONTROL COPVkISSION <br /> Jlotion carried unanimously. <br /> The Manager was authorized to order two subscriptions for the Legis- <br /> lative Bulletin for City use. <br /> Pair.
