The Suburban Public .Health Nursing Service <br /> letter was then filed. <br /> No action was taken on the request from the Minnesota Pollution Con- <br /> trol Agency for Council's lobbying for the federal construction <br /> grants program. <br /> The North Memorial Center report for the year was filed. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded by Councilman Stauffer to <br /> adopt a resolution to join the Hennepin County Criminal Justice Co- <br /> ordinating Council. <br /> • RESOLUTION 77-010 <br /> A JOINT RESOLUTION ESTABLISHING THE HENNEPIN <br /> COUNTY CRIMINAL JUSTICE COORDINATING COUNCIL <br /> Plotion carried unanimously. <br /> The Police Report for November 1976 was filed. <br /> The discussion regarding Resolution 77-008 appointing a Consulting <br /> Engineer for the City was resumed with a consideration of applications <br /> from the PJcCombs-Knutson and the Mateff_y firms . Councilman Haik ex- <br /> pressed her appreciation of the comparison of services which had <br /> been provided by the staff but she and the other Council members <br /> felt consideration should also be given to other firms before a de- <br /> cision is reached. Mr. Vickrey suggested sounding out other commu- <br /> nities regarding the engineering services they have as well as prob- <br /> lems they may have encountered which may be similar to those the <br /> City has or may have in the future. <br /> Motion by Councilman Sundland and seconded by Councilman Sauer to <br /> request the Manager to set up informal interviews with a few engi- <br /> neering' firrs who now serve the first and second tier metropolitan <br /> communities of similar size to St. AlithollY . <br /> Motion carried unanimously. <br /> • Mayor Miedtke then read the commendation from the Secretary of State <br /> for the record breaking voter turnout in St. Anthony for the Novem- <br /> ber elections. <br /> (6) <br />
