SECTION V. Meetings: <br /> A. Regular Meetings: <br /> 1. The Committee will hold regular meetings on an orderly and consistent <br /> basis as established by vote. Such meetings shall be held at least <br /> quarterly or more often as necessary, shall be open to all members in <br /> good standing and shall be for the purpose of conducting Committee <br /> business. <br /> 2. The date, time and place of regular meetings shall be made public and <br /> known to members at least three (3) days in advance of the day of the <br /> regular meeting. <br /> 3. An agenda shall be prepared with copies presented to each member <br /> in attendance. Any member may suggest items for inclusion on the <br /> agenda or for discussion at the regular meeting if consistent with <br /> Committee functions and time available. Items may be resubmitted at <br /> subsequent meetings if the original agenda meeting was adjourned <br /> prior to action on said item. <br /> 4. Meetings shall be conducted in an orderly manner as established by <br /> Committee vote, consistent with generally accepted rules of procedure. • <br /> 5. A simple majority of listed members must be present at a meeting to <br /> constitute a quorum for conducting business. Listed members include <br /> the Coordinator,or other members in good standing,but not the Safety <br /> Director. <br /> B. Special Meetings: From time to time the Safety Coordinator, Safety Director <br /> or a simple majority of listed members not including the Director or <br /> Coordinator, may call a special meeting of the Committee in order to act on <br /> relevant committee business which is of such an urgent nature as not to <br /> warrant or permit postponement until the next regular meeting. Such a <br /> special meeting shall require a quorum as in the regular meetings, and may <br /> be called at any time. Minutes of the special meeting shall be kept and <br /> presented to the Committee at the next regular meeting. <br /> CITY OF ST.
