r
• Municipal Safety Program
St. Anthony Safety Committee
GENERAL POLICY
I. As a City Employee, authorized functions undertaken on behalf of the safety program by
a committee member are an integral part of the assigned duties and responsibilities of the
member.
II. It is the responsibility of members to attend meetings or other functions on a regular and
consistent basis. Members unable to attend a given function as expected should personally
notify the Secretary or the Coordinator prior to the scheduled function and arrange for an
alternate as necessary.
III. Members should strive to complete assignments within a reasonable time period, consistent
with the requirements of both the assignment and their regular non-safety committee
duties.
Consideration should be given to keep disruptions and delays in regular department
duties to a minimum. -However, safety program business may not be automatically
relegated to a lower priority than other duties.
•
iii
