ANTHONY EMERGENCY POTABLE WATER PLAN <br /> page 2 <br /> Police Department: <br /> If a water emergency call comes into the Police Department the call must be <br /> forwarded to the Public Works Supervisor, Director of Public Works or the duty <br /> man as soon as possible. <br /> If a disaster occurs call the Public Works Supervisor, Director of Public Works, <br /> or the duty man as soon as possible. <br /> Fire Department: <br /> If a water emergency call comes into the Fire Department the call must be <br /> forwarded to the Public Works Supervisor, Director of Public Works or the duty <br /> man as soon as possible. <br /> Public Works: <br /> Must respond immediately to the water problems and make adjustments or <br /> corrections as soon as possible to the water emergency. <br /> • Public Works employees must communicate all water situations to the Public <br /> Works Director and Supervisor. <br /> Public Works will ask for assistance from the Police Department and Fire <br /> Department if needed to notify the residents of water restrictions. <br /> Public Works Director, Supervisor or any employee in Public Works will inform <br /> the City Manager as soon as possible of any restrictive measures enforced because <br /> of an emergency. <br /> City Manager will notify the City Council and also the news media for assistance <br /> in enforcing the water ban or water use. <br /> Public Works Incase of Disaster <br /> Public Works must respond to the disaster and evaluate the problems with all the <br /> water system and communicate this to the Director of Public Works or Public <br /> Works Supervisor or senior water man. <br /> Director of Public Works or Public Works Supervisor will call for assistance <br /> through our mutual aid if other help is needed to get the water system back to <br /> • normal. <br />
