Actual construction costs for the 1994 and 1995 projects in St. Anthony <br /> were $443,000 and $643,000, respectively. These costs translate to $143.40 and $160.75 per <br /> linear foot of constructed street, respectively. The increase in lineal foot cost for the 1995 <br /> project can be attributed mainly to the fact that a substantial quantity of storm sewer was <br /> included. <br /> For reference purposes, we also analyzed a number of similar projects in other communities, <br /> to show more clearly how costs have changed over time.
