• CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 97-047 <br /> A RESOLUTION AUTHORIZING APPLICATION FOR <br /> COMMUNITY REHABILITATION FUNDS FROM THE <br /> MINNESOTA HOUSING FINANCE AGENCY PROGRAM <br /> WHEREAS, due to the heavy rainfalls which occurred in July, 1997, many properties <br /> throughout the City of St. Anthony suffered severe damage; and <br /> WHEREAS, several of these same properties have had damages from rainfalls in the <br /> past; and <br /> WHEREAS, the St. Anthony City Council recognizes the need to implement systems of <br /> flood control in these areas; and <br /> WHEREAS, in an effort to establish effective flood mitigation and preventive measures <br /> in the City of St. Anthony, and in collaboration with Hennepin and Ramsey <br /> Counties, the City desires to apply for funding assistance through the <br /> Minnesota Housing Finance Agency. <br /> • NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. <br /> Anthony hereby authorizes the City's application for Community Rehabilitation funds <br /> from the Minnesota Housing Finance Agency Program. <br /> Adopted this day of 1997. <br /> ayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> . &)z-�� <br /> City Clerk <br /> Reviewed for administration: <br /> City MjAger <br />
