We are requesting that the State review and <br /> approve the Contract Documents prior to advertising for bids to prevent misunderstandings <br /> of RCM's interpretation of the various Federal Regulations. We have downloaded all the <br /> Code of Federal Regulations that we assume relate to procurement of a construction contract <br /> Ic III for this project. <br /> rieke The Project Manual is setup for the City of St. Anthony to award two (2) construction <br /> carroll contracts. One contract will be awarded for the drain tile installation and restoration with <br /> muller <br /> Wm <br /> ociates, inc. anticipated final completion by May 30, 1999. Another contract will be awarded for the <br /> neers inside work consisting ofceiling paint removal and replacement and floor cleaning,roughening <br /> itects and recoating to be completed by April 30, 1999. Depending on the date of advertisement for <br /> land surveyors <br /> construction bids,these dates may need to be revised. <br /> equal opportunity <br /> employer On December 23, 1998, RCM sent a report to you outlining our findings after a visit to the <br /> plant.In this report our estimated engineering costs were anticipated to be$9,500 for bidding <br /> documents, securing bids, construction administration, inspection and testing. RCM is <br /> virtually complete with the preparation of the bidding documents. The cost to date as of <br /> January 30, 1999 has approached$7,200. We feel that in order to complete the documents <br /> and services outlined we will need to update the budgeted fee from$9,500 to$12,500. This <br /> is largely due to the requirements of the State and Federal agencies and administering two <br /> construction contracts. <br /> years Based upon our discussions last week,you asked how much Roger Larson should put in the <br /> of budget. I indicated $60,000 to $65,000.
