CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> RESOLUTION 99-059 <br /> A RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PLANS FOR THE <br /> CONSTRUCTION OF TRAFFIC SIGNALS AT COUNTY ROAD D AND <br /> HIGHCREST ROAD AS SUBMITTED BY RAMSEY COUNTY; <br /> AND AUTHORIZING THE MAYOR AND CITY MANAGER TO <br /> SIGN THE MAINTENANCE AND CONSTRUCTION <br /> AGREEMENT ON BEHALF OF THE CITY OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> WHEREAS, the County of Ramsey has determined that there is justification and it is in the <br /> public's best interest to install traffic control signals with street lights, <br /> interconnect and signs at County Road D and Highcrest Road; and <br /> WHEREAS, the Cities of St. Anthony, New Brighton, and Roseville requested and the <br /> County agrees to provide an Emergency Vehicle Pre-emption System (EVP <br /> System), as a part of said traffic control signals with street lights in accordance <br /> with the terms and conditions in the Maintenance and Construction Agreement <br /> (Ramsey County Agreement No. 99010); and <br /> WHEREAS, the Cities of St. Anthony, New Brighton, and Roseville and the County of <br /> Ramsey will participate in the cost, maintenance, and operation of said traffic <br /> • control signals with street lights, signs, interconnect and EVP System. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED, that the City Council of the City of St. Anthony <br /> hereby approves the plans for the construction of traffic signals at County Road D and <br /> Highcrest Road as submitted by Ramsey County; and, authorizes the Mayor and City Manager <br /> to sign the Maintenance and Construction Agreement for said construction on behalf of the <br /> City of St. Anthony. <br /> Adopted this 14 day of S e 12� eyn L er , 1999. <br /> ayor <br /> ATTEST: <br /> City Clerk <br /> • Reviewed by Administration: <br /> City M pager <br />
