AGREEMENT FOR MAINTENANCE AND CONSTRUCTION <br /> • OF TRAFFIC CONTROL SIGNALS AND EVP SYSTEM <br /> AGREEMENT NO. 99010 <br /> City of New Brighton: $15,688.00 <br /> City of Roseville: $15,688.00 <br /> City of St. Anthony: $31,376.00 <br /> THIS AGREEMENT, made and entered into by and between the County of Ramsey, <br /> Department of Public Works, hereinafter referred to as the "County," and the City of New Brighton <br /> hereinafter referred to as "New Brighton, and the City of Roseville hereinafter referred to as <br /> "Roseville", and the City of St. Anthony hereinafter referred to as "St. Anthony, for the maintenance <br /> of a traffic control signal system with street lights, signs, interconnect and emergency vehicle pre- <br /> emption at the intersection of County Road D and Highcrest Road; <br /> WITNESSETH: <br /> WHEREAS, the County has determined that there is justification and it is in the public's best <br /> interest to install traffic control signals with street lights, interconnect and signs at County Road D <br /> (County State Aid Highway No. 19)and Highcrest Road; and <br /> • WHEREAS, New Brighton, Roseville and St. Anthony requested and the County agrees to <br /> provide an Emergency Vehicle Pre-emption System, hereinafter referred to as the "EVP System" as a <br /> part of said traffic control signals with street lights in accordance with the terms and conditions <br /> hereinafter set forth; and <br /> WHEREAS, the County, New Brighton, Roseville and St. Anthony will participate in the cost, <br /> maintenance and operation of said traffic control signals with street lights, signs, interconnect and <br /> EVP system as hereinafter set forth. <br /> NOW, THEREFORE, IT IS AGREED AS FOLLOWS: <br /> 1. The County shall prepare the necessary plans, specifications and proposals and shall perform <br /> the engineering and inspection required to complete the items of work hereinafter set forth. Such <br /> work as described immediately above shall constitute "Engineering and Inspection" and shall be so <br /> referred to hereinafter. <br /> 2. The contract cost of the work or , if the work is not contracted, the cost of all labor, materials <br /> and equipment rental required to complete the work, except the cost of providing the power supply to <br /> the service pole or pad shall constitute the actual "Construction Cost" and shall be so referred to <br /> hereinafter. <br /> • <br /> 99010 <br /> 1 of 6 <br />
