VILLAGE OF ST. ANTHONY <br /> • PLANNING BOARD MINUTES <br /> April 18, 1967 <br /> 1. The regular meeting of the Planning Board was called to order by Chairman <br /> Howitz at 7:35 P.M. on Tuesday April 18, 1967. <br /> 2. The following were present at roil call : <br /> Mesenbring, Kronk, Miedtke, Howitz <br /> Absent: Englund, Katterheinrich <br /> Also present: Harry Lekson <br /> 3. The minutes of the regular meeting of March 21, 1967 were approved as <br /> submitted. <br /> 4. Public Hearings - None <br /> 5. Ordinance Variation <br /> / Elmer Peterson appeared representing Mike Shun requesting approval to <br /> divide his lot at 2913 - 33rd Avenue. Mr. Peterson would like to build on <br /> • the west 65 ft. of said lot with a setback of 44 ft. as per survey. Upon <br /> motion by Kronk, seconded by Mesenbring, to recommend that the Council approve <br /> this request with the stipulation that Mr. Peterson contact Mr. Bauer at <br /> 2905 - 33rd Avenue and get a letter from him that he would have no objection <br /> to this division and setback. <br /> \Motion Carried. <br /> 6. Zoning Variation <br /> Joseph Perry appeared representing the buyers of lot 3 and North 1/2 of <br /> lot 4, Block 11, Mounds View Acres Second Addition. After discussion with <br /> Mr. Perry he was informed that this request had been denied at a previous <br /> meeting. Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Mesenbring that the rezoning <br /> be denied. <br /> Motion Carried. <br /> 7. Old Business <br /> a. John Hertog appeared with a survey and new plans for his proposed <br /> building on lot 1, block 6, Clark and Kings Hennepin Gardens. Mr. Sopcinski <br /> viewed the plans with the Planning Board members and stated that Mr. Hertog <br /> had compromised with him and would construct a building more to his satisfact- <br /> ion. He also requested that shrubbery be used to make the appearance of the <br /> area more enhancing. Also the board would like to have Mr. Hertog secure <br /> a letter from the neighbors to the east of this area involving the houses <br /> on Belden Drive. This, John said he would do. It was also noted that a <br /> varaiance on the east wood be needed as the building is on or near the lot <br /> �line. Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Kronk, it was moved to recommend <br /> to the Council that they approve the Hertog Addition. <br />
