Motion Carried. b. Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Harty, to recommend to the Council that a height variance be granted to Medtronics to allow a three story building to be built just north of the present building. \Motion Carried. c. Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Mesenbring, to recommend to the Council that a 7 ft. front yard variance be approved for 3212 and 3300 - 31% Ave. N.E. The lots are all 68 ft. in this block. tion Carried. 6. Zoning Variations Upon motion by Mtedtke, seconded by Mesenbring, to recommend to the Council that a public hearing be held to rezone lots 5, 6 and 7, Block 1 , Pat Pen • Addition, from R-1 single family to R-2 two family residential. Motion Carried. 7. Old Business - ," John Bureau presented preliminary Plat of Bureaus Addition for approval along with plans for a Goodyear Service Store to be built on lot 2, Block 1 , Bureaus Addition. The description of the property at this time is the North 200 ft. of the South 1017 ft. of the East 300 ft. of the {lest 538.83 ft. of the Southwest 1/4 of Section 310 Township 30, Range 23. Upon motion by Mesenbring, seconded by Miedtke, to recommend to the Council that approval be given for the Preliminary Plat of Bureau's Addition and also for the proposed building by Goodyear. The above approval contingent on conformity of Ordinance 66G and Sign Ordinance #75. \tion Carried. 8. Building Permits No action was taken on the Midwest Federal addition in Apache Plaza as the board felt that a permit should be given without Planning Board or Council action in this case. 9. Miscellaneous a. Upon motion by Miedtke, seconded by Harty, to recommend to the Council to approve sign replacement for Deluxe Bakery, Sign size 18x4 = 72 sq. ft. allowable under sign ordinance.
